The Philippines Won The Miss International 2013 for the 5th time in History

Miss Philippines and Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago

Miss Philippines Bea Rose Santiago won the title for Miss International 2013 held in Shinagawa Prince Hotel Hall in Tokyo December 17 2013 tuesday and the whole Philippines were celebrating after her victory.

Miss International 2012 Ikumi Yoshimatsu of Japan pass the crown to her successor Miss Philippines Bea Rose Santiago, which actually beat all 66 other contestants of the prestige pageant. The judges were actually amazed about how Miss Philippines answered their question and asked about what she would do if she wins the crown. And Miss Philippines answered to "sustain the spirit of sympathy and hope" simple yet so glamorous and meaningful answer.


Miss Philippines Bea Rose Santiago were actually dedicating the whole pageant for the victims of the typhoon Yolanda, and people affected were touched and uplift their souls and giving them more hopes to stand from the tragedy. "I'm dedicating my pageant for the Haiyan or Yolanda victims. I'm not going there just as Bea Santiago, but as Miss Philippines. If I win or if I make it, that would bring happiness to them and make them proud,” Miss Philippines said


Bea Rose Santiago was the fifth filipina to win the title and listed together with the other four previous Filipinas who won the title Precious Lara Quigaman, Gemma Cruz-Araneta, Melanie Marquez, and Aurora Pijuan.
